Manchester United are reportedly ready to press ahead with a move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose in this summer's transfer window.

Indeed, according to the London Evening Standard, the Red Devils still want the England international dispute his lack of football during the 2017-18 campaign.

Rose, who is valued at £27m by transfermarkt.co.uk, has only made 14 first-team appearances for Tottenham this term, and is widely expected to move on this summer due to his difficult relationship with the club, which stems from an interview last year.

United boss Jose Mourinho is said to be a firm admirer of the 27-year-old, and the Portuguese is said to have identified Rose as his long-term left-back.

The United supporters, however, are not so sure.

Indeed, in reacting to the news, the Red Devils fans have offered up a number of alternatives to signing a player that is currently second choice at left-back for Tottenham.
