Manchester United produced a professional performance on Sunday to see off the threat of West Bromwich Albion, winning 2-1 in the English Premier League.

Rivals Manchester City may be surging ahead at the top of the table, but it's vitally important for Jose Mourinho's side that they keep picking up all three points in case there's a slip-up at any point.

Romelu Lukaku and Jesse Lingard were the goal heroes for the Red Devils, scoring in the first half to give their side a comfortable lead. The Baggies rallied in the second half and pulled one back, but it wasn't enough to threaten the result for United.

Fans were pleased with the result with individual performances also catching their eye, including goalscorer Lingard.

The 25-year-old has been in excellent form so far this season, scoring seven goals and providing four assists, his highest direct goal contribution in a single season for the club.
