Man United fans blame Daley Blind for Chelsea’s first goal

Chelsea wiped the floor with Man United at Stamford Bridge this evening as they ran out comfortable 4-0 winners.

Pedro opened the scoring for the hosts with only 33 seconds gone before being booked for his celebration.

Gary Cahill then capitalised on some more poor defending from United following a corner to slam the ball home and make it 2-0 to the Blues.

Chelsea’s third was perhaps as embracing defensively as it comes for The Red Devils, as Eden Hazard nonchalantly walked – and I use that term literally – at United’s back line before playing a neat pass into N’Golo Kante, who found Nemanja Matic, who then found Hazard again, only if the skilful Belgian to drop his shoulder and slot past David De Gea.

N’Golo Kante added an unlikely fourth after he jinked and jived his way through United’s defence before putting the ball into the bottom corner with aplomb.

As much as Chelsea were been brilliant going forward, United were hapless at the back from start to finish, with the writing being on the wall from the first minute after conceding the cheap early goal.

United fans aren’t happy and want to point the finger. This time it is at the usually dependable Daley Blind,¬†who was certainly at fault for the opener…
