Man United fans desperate to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo after another Portugal goal

Former Manchester United attacker Cristiano Ronaldo scored his fourth goal in two 2018 World Cup matches as Portugal beat Morocco 1-0 on Wednesday, and Red Devils fans are desperate for their club to re-sign the Real Madrid man, rated at £90m by Transfermarkt.

After netting a brilliant hat-trick in his nation’s 3-3 draw with Spain in their opening fixture, the 33-year-old took just four minutes to find the net against the African country as he bulleted home a header from Joao Moutinho’s corner.

The centre-forward raised questions about his future with the La Liga giants following the Champions League final success against Liverpool last month, and it remains to be seen whether he will stay at the Bernabeu this summer, or not.

Man United supporters, who have been quick to react to a link with a £44m centre-back move with one saying the club would be “buying another Phil Jones”, were quick to have their say on Ronaldo’s latest display via social media, and while one said “bring him home”, another said “it’s time for Mourinho to bring Ronaldo home”.
