Man United fans didn’t enjoy Marcus Rashford’s performance despite goal

Manchester United secured a victory on the final day of the English Premier League season, winning 1-0 at home to Watford.

It was a day that the club paid tribute to the retiring Michael Carrick, who is hanging up his boots to become a coach at the Red Devils.

The midfielder was involved in the solitary goal, lofting a pass to Juan Mata, who assisted Marcus Rashford.

That was enough to get back to winning ways and head into this weekend’s massive FA Cup final with a bit of confidence.

Fans were pleased with the result but despite his winning contribution, found fault in the performance of goalscorer Rashford, believing he failed to put in the kind of performance that would justify his selection as a central striker going forward.

With Romelu Lukaku missing through injury, supporters are desperate for him to be fit for the final, worrying about Rashford’s decision making in the final third.
