Man United fans fume at Marcos Rojo after disappointing Boxing Day draw

Manchester United dropped more points in the English Premier League on Boxing Day, only managing to draw 2-2 with Burnley at Old Trafford.

Failing to pick up all three points means Manchester City can move a massive 15 points ahead at the top of the table if they defeat Newcastle United on Wednesday night.

In truth, the Red Devils could easily have lost the match, with Burnley conceding Jesse Lingard’s equaliser in stoppage time after the attacker inspired a second half comeback. The visitors had rushed to a 2-0 lead before half-time after a particularly poor 45 minutes from Jose Mourinho’s team.

Supporters were left deeply disappointed with the result and hard sharp criticism for a few select players, most notably defender Marcos Rojo who was hauled off by Mourinho at half-time.

Some fans hated his display so much they’d rather not see him in a Man United shirt again.
