Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho confirmed during his pre-match press conference on Wednesday afternoon that Alexis Sanchez was available for Thursday’s Premier League clash with West Ham United at the London Stadium.
Sanchez missed United’s 1-0 defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday night through injury, but the Chilean is fit for the battle with the Hammers in the English capital.
It would be fair to say that the attacker struggled in the early stages of his United career, but he appears to have turned a corner in recent weeks.
Indeed, the 29-year-old was outstanding in the semi-finals of the FA Cup against Tottenham Hotspur, and has just started to show signs of his best Arsenal form.
Sanchez could well line up in a centre-forward position against West Ham when considering that Romelu Lukaku is still on the sidelines with an ankle problem, and the United fans are absolutely delighted that Sanchez is now ready to return.
