Manchester United winger Anthony Martial put in an impressive performance and picked up a brilliant assist on his return to the France team as they drew 2-2 with Germany in an international friendly in Cologne on Tuesday night, and Red Devils fans were quick to have their say on his performance.

The 21-year-old was named in the Les Bleus frontline alongside Arsenal's Alexandre Lacazette and Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe, and he produced a fantastic piece of skill in the penalty area before unselfishly squaring the ball for Lacazette to give the visitors the lead in the 33rd minute.

Despite scoring six goals and providing six assists in 16 appearances in all competitions for United so far this season, the attacker has only started three of the club's 11 Premier League matches this term.

Man United supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on Martial, and while one said he "needs to be starting over Rashford", another believes "Mourinho has to start building the team around him".

Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction...
