Man United fans react as Levitt signs professional deal

Manchester United announced on Wednesday that Dylan Levitt had signed his first professional contract with the 20-time English champions.

The 17-year-old is a Wales Under-19 international, and has contributed four goals for United’s Under-18 team during the 2017-18 campaign.

A creative midfielder, Levitt has been tipped to continue his development with United’s Under-18s next season before potentially progressing to the Under-23 outfit.

The Red Devils have a long history when it comes to promoting youngsters to the first team, and Levitt has taken a huge step towards that by signing professional terms.

There were a number of United fans that responded to the news by asking for the club to sort out the futures of David de Gea and Anthony Martial, who are yet to sign fresh contracts.

However, there were also plenty that took the chance to praise Levitt, with the teenager backed to eventually make the breakthrough into the first team.
