Former Manchester United attacker Memphis Depay continued his fine start to the season with two goals in Lyon’s 5-0 win against Nice on Sunday, and Red Devils fans are divided on whether they should re-sign him in the future.
The Netherlands international joined the Ligue 1 outfit in 2016 after scoring just seven goals in 53 appearances in all competitions for United, but he has beaten that tally already this term.
The 23-year-old has netted 10 goals and provided a further five assists in 18 outings in total, while he also scored twice for his country earlier this month.
Man United supporters were quick to react to Depay’s latest impressive showing, and they were divided on whether they should look to bring the forward back to Old Trafford in the future.
While one simply said “bring back Depay”, another disagreed and thinks “he had his chance” to impress.
