Man United fans talk about Bruno Fernandes after goal for Portugal

Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes remains a transfer target of Manchester United after being linked with a move Old Trafford for much of the summer, and his goal for Portugal on Sunday has got fans talking about him.

The midfielder scored the opening goal against Luxembourg following a well-timed run which allowed him to get onto the end of a brilliant through ball by Bernado Silva.

He took the goal expertly, too, with a fine first touch showing the quality he has, and that may be what has got supporters discussing the prospect of him joining the Red Devils.

Some can’t believe Ed Woodward decided against bringing him in, while Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may have also been against the move due to concerns over the midfielder’s ability to retain possession.

That has left supporters both surprised and disappointed because they have just seen first hand what he can deliver, and that has caused many to call on the club to move back in for him.
