The 26-year-old midfielder has been frozen out of the Red Devils’ first-team set-up this season under Louis van Gaal after an equally frustrating 2013/14.
Anderson spent the back end of the last campaign on loan at Fiorentina, where he failed to hold down a starting berth and once again struggled to live up to the hype he generated earlier in his career after a good spell at Porto.
Reports in recent weeks have claimed that United are desperate to offload the playmaker, however there has been no serious interest in his signature.
Anderson’s contract expires at the end of the season, but Brazilian side Internacional are said to be keen on getting an agreement pushed through before the looming transfer deadline.
But, the player himself wants around £45,000-per-week, which has forced the club to discuss potential deals with third party sponsors and investment companies to get him back to his homeland.
