Manchester United have been given the all-clear to move for Fernando Muslera after Galatasaray manager Hamza Hamzaoglu admitted that the Uruguayan may be sold before the transfer deadline passes.
The Red Devils have been linked with a move for the South American goalkeeper of late, with reports suggesting that he’s a potential replacement for David de Gea.
Even though United are believed to confident of keeping their man, Real Madrid are known to be interested and have shown in the past that they’ll pay large fees to land any player they want.
And should he leave United have seemingly been cleared to snap up Muslera, with Hamzaoglu revealing that a deal could be done:
“We will only consider selling one of our players if a good offer comes in and if we can find a replacement.” He is quoted by Metro.
“If we are able to find a replacement for Muslera we may consider letting him go.”
Muslera may not be a household name among Premier League fans, but the 29-year-old is an experienced Uruguay international and was named the Super Lig’s best player last season.
