Manchester United are expected to return for Fiorentina midfielder Juan Cuadrado after the player failed to agree a new deal to stay in Italy, according to the Express.
Man United chief Louis Van Gaal had hoped to tempt him to Old Trafford in the summer after the 26-year-old impressed for Colombia at the World Cup in the summer.
But Cuadrado has is yet to negotiate a new contract with Fiorentina and could attract further interest for his services in the January transfer window.
The midfielder is contracted to the Serie A club until 2017, but it is believed he has demanded a significant pay rise in order to convince him to stay at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
And with Fiorentina reluctant to bow down to Cuadrado’s demands, Van Gaal will be hopeful of finally tempting him to the red side of Manchester.
