Manchester United coach Marcel Bout is helping push through a move for Lazio attacking star Felipe Anderson, according to CalcioMercato.
The Red Devils first-team coach, who is understood to be in charge of scouting missions at the club, is said to be a huge fan of the highly rated Brazilian.
Bout has worked closely with United boss Louis van Gaal since 2006 and reports, via the Metro, suggest the Old Trafford hierarchy have reacted well to his glowing recommendation of the player.
The 22-year old playmaker emerged as a target towards the end of the summer transfer window though a move never fully materialised.
He has five goals and one assist in 19 appearances for the Rome giants this season and broke through last term with 10 goals and seven assists last season.
