Man United keen on £21.1m wing star, club desperate to keep him

Galatasaray are desperate to keep hold of Bruma amid interest from Manchester United, according to reports from ESPN.

The Portuguese starlet, who has yet to be capped at senior international level, has long been talked about as one of the top emerging players in his position in Europe, but his career has stagnated somewhat since his 2013 move from Sporting CP to Turkey.

However, Bruma has been in sparking form in pre-season, netting six goals in five games – including one against Man United – which has led to reported interest from the Red Devils.

However, Gala have no desire to offload their €25m (£21.1m)-rated 21-year-old wide-man, who is also a target for PSV Eindhoven.

Jose Mourinho is thought to be a fan of his compatriot, with the player himself having revealed that ‘The Special One’ told him he was “impressed” with his performance during the clubs’ recent meeting.
