Man United looking to offload loanee

Manchester United are looking to get rid of Nani on a permanent basis, even though the winger has claimed that he remains in their plans, according to The Independent.

The Portugal international is currently away from Old Trafford on loan at Sporting Lisbon after a difficult few years as a Red Devils.

Nani said over the weekend that United are keen to secure his return and that he has a future at the Theatre of Dreams, even though his spell in his homeland has been a good one for him so far.

The 28-year-old has already netted seven goals in 24 appearances for his current side, which has helped to boost his reputation once again.

However, there are issues surrounding his £100,000-per-week wages, which may put off suitors.

Another problem is the wide-man’s contract, which still has three-and-a-half-years to run.
