Man United make £42.5m-rated star major transfer target

Manchester United have made Porto’s highly-rated winger Yacine Brahimi a major transfer target going into 2016, according to reports from Record.

The Algeria international, 25, has shone for the Portuguese giants since joining them from Granada last year and is considered to be one of the top talents in the Primeira Liga.

And reports now claim that Louis van Gaal is eager to lure him to England as he quests to add more creative spark to his attacking ranks.

Brahimi, however, is unlikely to come cheap, with his release clause set at £42.5m.

Further to this Porto are known to drive a hard bargain and have held out for massive fees to sell the likes of Hulk, James Rodriguez, Radamel Falcao and numerous others in the past.

Brahimi is already known to some fans of Premier League football after he ran Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic ragged in Champions League action earlier this season.
