Man United make Leicester hero No.1 summer target (not Mahrez or Vardy)

Manchester United have made Leicester hero N’Golo Kante their top summer transfer target after being wowed by the France international, according to reports from The Sun.

The 25-year-old has been a revelation in his debut season in the Premier League, forming a solid midfield partnership with former Red Devil, Danny Drinkwater, that may well help the Foxes to a shock title win.

Kante’s form has opened up much debate about his future even though Leicester are seemingly guaranteed Champions League football, and reports claim that Man United are hopeful they can lure him to the North West – regardless of their outcome of their quest for a top four finish.

Old Trafford director, Sir Alex Ferguson, is believed to be a big fan of the combative ex-Caen man, which may have had a bearing on their interest in him.

Recent reports have claimed that Leicester themselves are worried that they may lose either Kante or Riyad Mahrez at the end of the season, although Jamie Vardy looks set to stay after penning a new deal earlier this year.
