Manchester United should sell Paul Pogba at the end of the season and use the money to bring Real Madrid midfielder Isco to the club.

What's the word, then?

There is absolutely no question that Pogba is an incredibly gifted footballer. In terms of natural talent, there are few better in the Premier League.

The fact of the matter, however, is that the France international has just not been able to show his best form since returning to Old Trafford.

The 25-year-old is capable of moments of brilliance, but United's biggest Premier League win of the season - 4-1 against Fulham on Saturday - arrived with Pogba on the bench.

The midfielder is technically excellent, but slows United's play down, and far too often concedes possession in a dangerous position.

Rumours linking Pogba with a return to Juventus at the end of the season are refusing to go away, and the Red Devils should send him back to Turin.

The 20-time English champions must then target Real Madrid midfielder Isco, who is currently not enjoying his time at the Bernabeu under Santiago Solari.

Why should United move for Isco?

Isco has only completed one league game for Real Madrid this season, and was an unused substitute in their 1-0 win over Huesca on Sunday afternoon.

An appendix operation earlier this season harmed the Spaniard's campaign, but he is currently not first choice under Solari, who is giving minutes to the likes of Marcos Llorente and Dani Ceballos with Casemiro on the sidelines.

There have been rumours surrounding Isco's attitude this season, and he has previous when it comes to being unhappy with a lack of first-team football, which could lead to the Spain international considering his future again.

A four-time Champions League winner at the Bernabeu, Isco has made over 250 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions, scoring 46 times and registering 53 assists.

He scored a stunning goal against Melilla in the Copa del Rey on Thursday afternoon, and his style of football is perfect for the Premier League. Mourinho is known to favour 'giants' in midfield, and Isco does not fit the brief with his 5ft 9in frame.

The 26-year-old is the type of player who would thrive alongside the likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial though, and Mourinho should be targeting a move for the gifted playmaker at the end of the 2018-19 campaign.
