Man United out of running for January star

Manchester United are keen on Dynamo Kiev star Aleksandar Dragovic, but the Manchester Evening News claim that a deal this month is unlikely.

Reports state that the Red Devils have been tracking the Austrian’s progress of late, but remain unsure that he’s cut out for Premier league football right now.

The 23-year-old has been mooted as one of United’s top January targets recently, however a switch seems almost certain to be shelved for now.

The player’s representatives feel that a deal in the summer is a more realistic aim, although Dragovic will have to continue to impress in Ukraine to keep Louis van Gaal’s interest.

The centre-back joined Kiev in 2013 from FC Basel after impressing with the Swiss giants.

On top of his fine domestic form, Dragovic has proven himself capable on the international stage, winning 35 caps at senior level for Austria.
