As reported in an exclusive by The Sun, Manchester United are looking to attract another French superstar to Old Trafford.

What's the word?

Manchester United brought Paul Pogba to the Premier League in the last transfer window and now they're set to follow that up with another sensational transfer next summer.

The Sun report that United have actually already opened talks to bring the forward to Old Trafford, asking a leading football agent to negotiate the deal that could cost up to £60m.

The move is so far advanced that Griezmann has already talked to his international teammate Paul Pogba about the potential transfer, according to the paper.

It would be the transfer of the summer in the Premier League if it comes off, just like summer 2015 when United sent shockwaves around Europe with the signing of Pogba.

Worth it?

Griezmann is undoubtedly one of the finest players in Europe, a star for club and country that doesn't come around often.

He's scored 66 goals in 128 appearances for Atletico Madrid, helping them to Champions League finals and bringing them so close to breaking the La Liga norm by winning the league title.

He was in red hot form during Euro 2016 too, winning the Player of the Tournament award and also the Golden Boot award.

Coming so close as runner-up in all these competitions is not ideal for the Frenchman and a move to Manchester United with Jose Mourinho could spark an era of success at the club, especially in partnership with the likes of Paul Pogba.
