Manchester United look set to keep hold of James Wilson for the remainder of the Premier League season, with reports from the Daily Star claiming that the club have rejected several offers for the forward.
The 19-year-old has enjoyed a fairly prominent role in Louis van Gaal’s set-up across the current season, making 12 Premier League outings – netting once.
He has even been chose ahead of £200,000+-per-week loanee Radamel Falcao on occasion by the Dutchman, hinting that he features in the Old Trafford chief’s plans.
But with United having just eight games to play this season, Wilson has been linked with a late loan switch to a Championship side.
The likes of Derby, Middlesbrough, Ipswich, Watford and Norwich have all been aligned with offers for the teenager as they look to achieve promotion to the top tier.
However, LVG is understood to have backtracked on his plans to let Wilson head out, and has rejected several offers for the starlet.
