Man United readying move for Championship side’s teen sensation

Manchester United are readying a move for Wolves’ impressive teenager Niall Ennis, according to reports from ESPN.

The 16-year-old is yet to make an appearance for the Championship outfit’s first-team, but has been training with the senior players since impressing in the club’s U-21 side – whom he made his debut for at the age of 15.

His performances for the Midlands outfit and England’s U-17s – he scored for the Three Lions’ junior side earlier this month against Portugal – have attracted Premier League interest despite his tender age, with reports claiming that United are very much in the running.

Manchester City and Chelsea are also known to be keen, but scouts from Old Trafford are aware of Ennis’ potential and are determined to get him to the North West as they look to recruit the best talent from around England.

An offer in excess of £1m is expected, which may tempt Wolves given that their teen star’s rise is by no means a guarantee.
