Manchester United legend Phil Neville revealed an interesting anecdote on James Wilson when commentating on the club’s 2-1 win over Stoke.
The 19-year-old academy product made his second start as a Manchester United player last night and has been tipped to make the grade at Old Trafford despite the plethora of striking options that Louis Van Gaal currently has at his disposal.
Despite not scoring, Wilson again impressed in only his second senior start.
During the game, Neville revealed that Wilson is called Chevy by his teammates due to his want for a club car:
“When he made debut, he said he wanted to play enough games to get club car. Now he’s nicknamed Chevy,” Neville revealed.
