Ryan Giggs will head for crunch talks with new Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho in regards to his future with the club, according to the Daily Mail.
With the seismic arrival of the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ at the Theatre of Dreams, the future of the Welshman has been cast into doubt.
Undoubtedly an icon at Old Trafford, the former midfielder had been touted as a potential future manager of the club.
However, he was overlooked after being an assistant to Louis van Gaal and a 29-year association with the Red Devils is entering perhaps its most rocky period.
Now, he will reportedly head for crunch talks with both the Portuguese and chief executive Ed Woodward in order to thrash out his future.
It is understood he will leave if he feels he is not given a genuine role in the new structure, something that could prove to be a major blow for the club.
