Manchester United are set to recall defender Tyler Blackett from his loan spell with Scottish champions Celtic, according to the Daily Mail.
The Red Devils have seen a serious of injuries deplete their backline this season, including long term casualties Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo.
England defender Shaw suffered a horrific double leg break earlier this season, while Argentine star Rojo recently underwent shoulder surgery.
Manager Louis van Gaal had to promote Guillermo Varela and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson for their first-team debuts in the loss to Bournemouth earlier this month, simply to make up the numbers.
Now, the 21-year old star could see his spell north of the border cut short as van Gaal looks to strengthen his defence.
Having made just seven appearances for the Bhoys this term, the Manchester outfit have seen fit to bring him back to Old Trafford.
A versatile defender, he emerged as a first-team contender last season and can operate as either a centre-back or a left-back.
