Manchester United star Luke Shaw is edging closer to making a full recovery after posting an update via his Instagram account.
The 20-year-old left-back has been out of action since breaking his leg in two places back in September, but has now revealed that he is close to making a comeback.
“Training is going really well outside,” he posted.
“Can’t wait to be back on the pitch with the team.”
Shaw is now surely hoping he can feature for the United first team before the end of the current campaign as he wants to impress England boss Roy Hodgson ahead of Euro 2016.
However, his side only have five Premier League matches remaining before the end of the season as they continue to fight for a top four finish.
The Red Devils are sitting fifth on the table, but are four points behind Manchester City and Arsenal in third and fourth place respectively.
Shaw only managed to feature eight times in all competitions before picking up the injury, so far managing to provide one assist in the process.
