Man United star intrigued by chance to join Koeman’s revolution at Everton

According to reports from De Telegraaf, Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin is open to joining Everton during the summer transfer window.

The France international served under new Toffees boss Ronald Koeman at Southampton before moving to Old Trafford in a £24million deal last summer.

Despite the significant fee, the 26-year-old struggled to hit the heights expected at United last season, issued just 25 Premier League starts by Louis van Gaal.

On Saturday, Mirror Football reported that the midfield enforcer had emerged as a prime transfer target for Everton – a potential star signing to kick off the Ronald Koeman era at Goodison Park.

And dutch publication De Telegraaf now claim the 6 foot 2 ace is open to a reunion with Koeman on Merseyside following an underwhelming maiden campaign at Old Trafford.

The Toffees are reportedly prepared to pay £20million to sign Schneiderlin and have also been linked with one of the Frenchman’ United team-mates in playmaker Juan Mata.
