Angel Di Maria is not looking to leave Manchester United any time soon, according to his agent Jorge Mendes.
The Argentine is currently the Red Devils’ all-time record transfer following his somewhat surprise £59.7m move to Old Trafford from Real Madrid last year.
But even though he’s only been at the club for just over half a season, there have already been suggestions that he could be sold, with PSG thought to be keen.
Such talk has been boosted by a recent burglary at Di Maria’s Cheshire home, which has forced the player and his family into hotel accommodation.
Di Maria has also endured a dip in form, which has left some fans of the club disappointed due to the vast amount of money committed to his signature.
However, his agent, Mendes, says that his client is content at United:
“He was at Real Madrid and wanted to go to another of the world’s best teams; now he is and he is happy.” He is quoted by the Daily Star.
