Man United to announce blockbuster transfer for world-class star this week

According to reports from BBC Sport, Manchester United are set to complete Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s long-awaited transfer to Old Trafford by the end of the week.

The 34-year-old striker has already confirmed he’ll leave PSG on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the month and he’s been linked with a move to Old Trafford relentlessly in recent weeks.

Ibrahimovic’s involvement in Euro 2016 appeared be delaying the move but Sweden were eliminated from the Group Stages at the hands of Belgium last week – leading the 116-cap star to announce his retirement from the international stage.

But BBC Sport – essentially the most reputable source going – believe Ibrahimovic will sign for the Red Devils by the end of the week, becoming Jose Mourinho’s second acquisition of the summer after £30million defender Eric Bailly.

Reporting earlier this month, The Express claim Zlatan’s United contract will see him take home a whopping £300k per week.
