Man United to be forced into £63m move

Manchester United will have to pay £63m to land Angel di Maria before the transfer window closes with Paris Saint-Germain ready to splash the cash to sign him, according to reports from The Express.

The Red Devils were thought to be very close to a £50m move for the Argentine, with rumours having indicated that their French rivals had pulled out of the running for the Real Madrid ace.

Financial Fair Play worries were seen as the major issue, but now with Ezequiel Lavezzi and Adrien Rabiot set to be sold the Parisians are once again in the hunt.

They’ve reportedly told Real that they’re willing to pay £63m for di Maria in a bid to blow United out of the water.

Los Blancos are expected to accept the highest offer available for their man, with big money moves for Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez having been made.

United may struggle to match PSG’s offer, and a lack of Champions League football at Old Trafford could be a factor for the 26-year-old.
