Man United top Premier League table for first time in 2014…

Away fans have a responsibility in football to back their team in a hostile venue. Okay, the feisty terraces of yesteryear are gone, but heading to a rival side’s ground can still be a less than pleasant experience for players, who nearly always cite the efforts of their supporters as key when, or if, they get the desired result.

A survey from the Carlsberg Fan Squad has now revealed that Manchester United lead the way when it comes to being raucous on the road, with over 1,500 Premier League fans quizzed on the subject. The result marks the first time the Red Devils have been at the top of any table in 2014, which is testament to their committed supporters.

Carlsberg conducted a review of 2014 to celebrate the Carlsberg Fan Squad Festive Football Calendar and the alternative Christmas Day message.
