Italian giants Lazio have moved to quash suggestions that Felipe Anderson has already agreed a summer move to Manchester United.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with the three-cap Brazil international for some time, and rumours of a move to the North West of England have resurfaced today.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito was quoted as having said: “Felipe Anderson will move to Manchester United next season, for €60m. I bought Felipe Anderson for €8m, and I’ve already sold him on for €60m” fuelling suggestions that a deal would go ahead.
However, Lazio have released a statement on their official website denying the widely reported quotes have any substance to them.
Anderson, 22, enjoyed a stunning 2014/15 season, firing 10 goals while notching seven assists as the Rome giants finished third in Serie A.
He has, however, endured a dip in form this campaign, yet his stock remains high.
