Brazil international Roberto Firmino will join a side in England this summer, according to his agent, amid speculation that Manchester United are closing in on a deal for the midfielder.
The Hoffenheim ace has been heavily linked with a switch to the Red Devils in recent days, with speculation that a £13.1m fee has been agreed circulating.
Firmino has been one of the stars of the Bundesliga for some time, and it appears that his 49 goals in 153 games have alerted United, despite their move for Memphis Depay.
The 23-year-old – who operates as an attacking midfielder and is comfortable on both flanks – is currently away with the Selecao at the Copa America, but his agent, Roger Wittmann has revealed that his client will be on his way to England this summer:
“All I can say is that he will go to England,” he is quoted by Goal.
As well as United, Liverpool have been aligned with Firmino, although it is thought that the Red Devils are currently at the front of the queue.
