The Premier League kicks off this weekend with arguably the most important fixture of the season – the Manchester Derby.
Indeed, the dugouts are now donned by Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola respectively – two world-class managers whose careers have been continuously linked by a never-ending rivalry spanning from their days together at Barcelona.
Nobody’s quite sure of what to expect from today’s game. Will Mourinho reduce it to a scoreless draw? Will Guardiola’s definitive brand of football take over? Is it too early in the season to expect too much from either side?
That remains to be seen but the starting XIs, confirmed on Twitter just moments ago, could give as hint of what to expect from today’s game.

Perhaps the biggest talking point is the introduction of Jesse Lingard – an unexpected selection from Jose Mourinho – whilst Marcus Rashford has to settle for a spot on the bench.
Meanwhile, Kelechi Iheanacho gets the nod up front for Manchester City, with resident striker Sergio Aguero suspended.
