Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign in-demand PSV winger Memphis Depay, according to Metro.
The 21-year-old Netherlands international has netted 20 goals in 27 Eredivisie outings this season, assisting a further three.
And his form for Louis Van Gaal’s Netherlands outfit in last summer’s World Cup has had him on the Dutch manager’s Old Trafford radar ever since.
And despite reports suggesting Liverpool and Arsenal were keeping tabs on the forward, dubbed the new Cristiano Ronaldo, Metro believe Man United all but completed a deal to bring him to Old Trafford in the summer.
It is not yet clear how much United will pay PSV for their man, but it has been reported in the past that a fee of around £25million would be enough to tempt him to the Premier League.
United boss Van Gaal is expected to splash around £80million on new recruits in the summer, as he continues rebuilding a Man United side that was initially crippled by Sir Alex Ferguson’s shock retired two years ago.
