Man United’s record in London is outstanding

Manchester United comfortably brushed aside Premier League strugglers Queens Park Rangers with a 2-0 win at Loftus Road on Saturday.

It took a while for them to get going, but goals from Marouane Fellaini and James Wilson netted second half goals to keep Man United in the top four ahead of the Arsenal and Spurs.

It was a much needed win for Louis Van Gaal’s side after their disappointing 1-0 loss to top four rivals Southampton at Old Trafford last week.

But it also kept their impressive away record against London clubs intact. United have now lost just once in 20 league games in the capital, dating back to, ironically, their 3-0 win over QPR in December 2011.

Their only loss in the time came at Stamford Bridge in January last year, while they’ve register 12 victories and seven draws.

That’s not a bad record, is it? Their next trip to the capital will be a tough meeting with high-flying West Ham at the Boleyn Ground. Can they keep up their fantastic form in London?
