Despite leaving in somewhat acrimonious circumstances, Patrice Evra appears to be still in love with former side Manchester United.
The Frenchman made his departure from Old Trafford in the summer of 2014, just months after signing a new contract with the club. There were suggestions of broken promises between the two sides, but Evra has lost none of his affection for the Red Devils.
Having officially retired from professional football earlier in the summer, the 38-year-old confirmed he is in the process of completing his coaching badges, and now, speaking on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, he is keen on a return to Old Trafford.

Evra admitted he is in talks with the club over working for United behind the scenes, and that revelation saw fans of the Manchester side flood to Twitter to share their thoughts on the matter.
Many Red Devils fans urged him to come back and help restore the side to former glories, with one fan in particular suggesting he could even help with Paul Pogba’s situation.

You’ve always been a part of the club and you know how it hurts to see our amiable club fall…if getting hands dirty is what will restore the glory we once had then let’s all get our hands dirty….and push the Glazers out.
