Well that was expected wasn't it? Just when you thought Marcos Rojo was beginning to finally kick on with his Manchester United career, the defender has been struck down with yet another injury.

As per Transfermarkt, the Argentina international has been out of action with 11 separate injuries since joining the club from Sporting CP back in 2014 for a fee in the region of £16m. All in all, it has meant he has missed a total of 93 games for the Red Devils.

This season has seen him feature slightly more prominently, particularly after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's decision to move to a back-three in recent games. He has played nine times across all competitions, and played the full 90 minutes in the Premier League draw against Liverpool and the Carabao Cup victory over Chelsea.

But speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the clash against Sheffield United on Sunday afternoon, Solskjaer revealed that Rojo is set to miss the next "couple of weeks" with a muscle problem.

After hearing the injury update on the 29-year-old, United fans flooded to Twitter to voice their frustrations with the situation.

Many Red Devils supporters insisted it is quite simply typical that Rojo has once again gotten injured, while some appeared to be quite ruthless in suggesting his latest injury should be the final straw in considering whether to keep him or not.
