Bruno Fernandes. Anthony Martial. Mason Greenwood.

Manchester United's three different goal-scorers in their emphatic 3-0 win over Watford on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League. Naturally, most of the attention has gone to the trio, with Fernandes in particular earning comparisons with the likes of Paul Scholes and Juan Sebastian Veron from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - not too shabby at all.

But whilst the Portugal international in particular enjoyed an outstanding game with a goal and an assist, one man who may have gone under the radar despite having an impressive outing himself, is Nemanja Matic.

The Serbia international was linked with a move away from Old Trafford in recent weeks, but his performances since the New Year even led to Solskjaer claiming "he is playing the best football since I've been here" last month. And against Watford on Sunday, he showed exactly why his manager said that.

As per Sofascore, his 7.8 match rating was only bettered by Fernandes and Greenwood, who of course both got on the score-sheet. Matic's contributions were far more complete, and more effective in different areas of the pitch. But perhaps the most surprisingly, the former Chelsea man shone in a more creative sense.

Who is that?! Nobody has been able to name the teams all of these obscure managers were once in charge of...

His impressive total of five key passes was more than any other player on the pitch at Old Trafford, including that of January signing Fernandes, who managed four. Not to mention that he also had more touches and passes than the Portugual international, and completed three of his five attempted long balls.

Being the more natural holding midfielder that he is, he also had some fine numbers defensively, registering three apiece for tackles, interceptions and clearances. But it was his use of the ball that ensured he arguably stole the show for the Red Devils.

Whilst he didn't find the back of the net or provide the assist, he dictated the tempo in the middle of the park, and allowed the likes of Fernandes, Martial and Greenwood to shine. He laid the platform with his cute passes and vision, and Solskjaer will have been left suitably proud by the powerhouse's touch of magic.

Meanwhile, Man Utd fans are fuming with this injury update on key man.
