Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo is set to be axed from the club after falling out with boss Louis van Gaal, according to the Metro.
The Argentine defender is said to be attracting interest from Russian side Zenit St. Petersburg, despite only joining the club last year.
The 25-year old is said to have angered van Gaal by not reporting for the club’s pre-season tour on time due to problems with his passport.
Tensions escalated when he did not reveal the full extent of a hamstring injury, which saw him limp out of the win at Southampton a fortnight ago.
He is one season into a four-year contract in Manchester, after arriving from Sporting Lisbon for around £16m after some impressive performances at the 2014 World Cup.
However, even with the injury to Luke Shaw, van Gaal could be set to ship the player back to Russia, where he plied his trade for 18 months with Spartak Moscow.
