The 26-year-old is entering his final year in his contract with the Premier League champions, and hasn’t been able to agree a new deal with the club.
This has opened the door for both Juventus and Monaco, who have been linked with the Portuguese winger over recent months.
Nani featured in just 11 league matches this season, as he fell down the United pecking order. And after Wilfred Zaha’s loan spell at Crystal Palace expired in May, another player has come in to threaten Nani’s future at the club.
United are expected to accept any offer for the winger in the region of £8.5million, which has out priced Galatasaray, who have also tried to sign the former Sporting Lisbon speedster.
The Turkish club are reluctant to meet United’s valuation of the winger, meaning that Serie A champions Juventus and high spending Monaco are in pole position to sign him.
Nani joined Manchester United in 2007, when the Red Devils paid Sporting Lisbon £17million for the Portuguese man’s services. But now David Moyes’ new club are ready to lose Nani for just half their buying price.
Should Nani join Juventus? Or should he be another big signing for Monaco?
