Manchester United and Tottenham could be beaten to star’s signature

Juve striker Mirko Vucinic

Turkish side Fenerbache are ready to test the resolve of Manchester United and Tottenham, with a bid for reported transfer target Mirko Vucinic, according to talkSPORT.

The striker, who currently represents Juventus in Serie A, was the subject of interest from the Premier League title rivals over the summer, but opted to stay in Turin.

But it seems the Montinegrin might now be having second thoughts, after admitting he may need to move following the arrivals of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente in the summer.

Both United and Spurs are thought to be keen to strengthen their options in front of goal, but it seems Fenerbache will lead the charge for the striker’s signature, believing a bid of £10m will be enough to secure his services come January.

Though Italian champions Juve are not explicitly looking to sell, the right offer could fund a move for PSG’s Jeremy Menez, who manager Antonio Conte is said to be interested in.
