Manchester United boss rules out panic buys

Manchester United manager David Moyes has ruled out the chance of the Red Devils making knee jerk singings this winter, as reported by Sky Sports.

Moyes was criticised in the summer for failing to attract the required targets and it has shown in the first half of the season with the Red Devils struggling to break into the top four.

Marouane Fellaini has failed to make the desired impact at Old Trafford since his summer deadline day move, which many have called a panic buy.

Moyes will not be making the same mistake this transfer window though and he may not sign anyone at all.

“It won’t change how we go about things. January is not an easy month to purchase in,” Moyes said.

“We have a good, big squad that is getting stretched at the moment because of the number of games.

“But everybody picks up injuries at this time of year. We are no different and will use the squad.”

I think most of the business will be more towards the summer rather than January.”
