Loads of Manchester United fans are revelling in “the only right thing” Ed Woodward has ever done in their eyes – keeping David De Gea.
For all the expensive flops and big name signings who have failed at United in recent years, for all the manager changes and fan disillusionment, there has been one shining light at Old Trafford.
Of course, that shining light is a 6 foot 4 Spanish bloke called David, who also happens to be one of the best in the world at keeping the ball out of the back of the net.
And while he has gone about racking up 128 United clean sheets in 362 games in the famous red shirt, there has been a constant ‘will they or won’t they’ transfer game with Real Madrid going on in the background.
It culminated in a ridiculous ordeal back in 2015, when his proposed move to Madrid fell through after paperwork was not filed to the respective league bodies in time, resulting in United fans celebrating ‘fax machine day’ on August 31 every year since.
He now looks set to pen a new contract with the club, per The Sun, worth a whopping £350k-a-week.

?? David missed out on at least 3 Champions league titles. For once, Ed Woodward’s laziness helped us.

that is the best and only one ed woodward can do for tranfer players so far. And yes his lack of tranfer movement (which is good in this case) can save de gea. my god!
