Paul Pogba seems to have been dividing opinion ever since he returned to Manchester United from Juventus in the summer of 2016.
The £89m man has, at times, put in some stellar displays for the Red Devils during his time at Old Trafford.
On other occasions, the Frenchman has struggled to influence from the middle of the park, and many have argued that it is down to positioning.
In some games, manager Jose Mourinho has required Pogba to play deeper and start plays closer to the defensive line, but that does not play to the 24-year-old’s strengths.
According to The Independent, the former Juventus star feels that he is being misused because he plays better in a more attacking role.
In his last three Premier League outings, Pogba did not play a full 90 minutes, and there are rumblings that there is unhappiness behind the scenes.
The Independent has gone as far to say that the midfielder was open to leaving the club following United’s 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur, but his reaction was more heat-of-the-moment than anything else.
United fans have been tweeting their thoughts on the situation and how it can be resolved.

I am sure he is a nice guy. I am also sure he is amazing talent that’s without question.
But boy does he have an attitude problem.
Greatest manager of all time didn’t want him. #mufc #pogba #mourinho

You best take these "Pogba regrets joining United" stories with a grain of salt. Don't believe everything you read! #MUFC

Pogba is arguably United's best player, however its the manger who should have the final tactical decision. Players should do their best to stick to the plan. 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 Pogba just has to adapt. #Mufc

Honestly not confident in the slightest that we'll get top 4 anymore with what's been going on at the club recently. From recent results to disputes between Jose and Pogba, it's all set for us to drop out of top 4. I think we'll be 5th by the time the West Ham game is over #MUFC https://t.co/C4WdJcWGuX

if its true I am starting to dislike Pogba now we all know that his good in 3 man midfield but you don't tell the manager what to do, he plays wre mourinho wants him to play Pogba must know his place and just keep? and play football #mufc

Been reading about the Pogba controversy. A couple of thoughts.
– Pogba has shown his quality in a 4-3-3, use him there please
– The reason why we bought Matic is so Pogba can be freed up, so why restrict his movement and influence in a 4-2-3-1?#ManUtd #ManchesterUnited #MUFC

People are harsh on Pogba. You can't expect him to create like Ozil, control game like Zidane, pass like scholes, score like lampard, drive like Gerrard, defend like Makelele. Let him play his game. #mufc

Been giving it some thought and if Mourinho wants to use Pogba in a pivot TEMPORARILY till the summer up until he properly addresses the midfield and permanently switch to 4-3-3 I'll have to agree with the manager here and Pogba has to suck it up and do the job #mufc
