As reported by The Mirror, Marouane Fellaini is on the brink of a January exit from Manchester United, with Besiktas ready to pay £8m to bring him to Turkey.

Fellaini has emerged as one of United's more impressive performers this season, leading to thoughts that he may end up extending his contract at the club, which expires next summer.

However, the latest news suggests his time is limited at Old Trafford with Jose Mourinho turning to other targets to bring a better blend to the United midfield.

The Belgian has had a roller coaster United career, initially taking time to win over supporters after a big money move from Everton. Under Mourinho he's slowly improved, to the point he has been celebrated by some fans.

Some though appear happy for him to leave, believing that the club can be doing much better if they're to truly compete for the English Premier League and UEFA Champions League.
