Manchester United fans fume at Mourinho after defeat
Manchester United fans are absolutely losing it with Jose Mourinho after the Red Devils gifted the league to Manchester City on Sunday.
While the majority of Manchester United fans appreciate the process Jose Mourinho is envisaging at Old Trafford, there are plenty who are unhappy with the rate of improvement, and they’re furious with Sunday’s performance.
Mourinho’s men looked motivated and electric in the second half of the win at the Etihad last weekend, but somehow looked more slow and ponderous than ever in Sunday’s loss to West Brom.
The Baggies left Old Trafford with all three points thanks to a second half goal from Jay Rodriguez, and United fans are bashing Mourinho for the sluggish performance.
In the minds of many supporters, a squad with the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez, Juan Mata, Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba should never look devoid of ideas, which is exactly how they looked on Sunday.
This is now the first time in Mourinho’s career he has failed to win the league in his second season with a club, and fans are bashing his tactics on Twitter.
