Manchester United lost for the fifth time this season in the English Premier League on Sunday, this time away to relegation battling Newcastle United at St James' Park.

A Matt Ritchie strike in the second half was enough to secure all three points for Rafa Benitez's side, with Man United failing to put away numerous chances to get ahead or equalise in the match.

Jose Mourinho's outfit are now a massive 16 points behind Manchester City and face a battle to secure a top four position this season with fifth place Chelsea just six points behind having played a game less.

Supporters were left fuming with the result and performance, reserving particular criticism for players who missed golden chances like Anthony Martial.

The Frenchman, who is reported to earn £70,000-a-week at the club, was well below his best on the right side of the United attack and fans are calling for him to either be used elsewhere, benched or even sold in the summer.
